Munich is the Capital of Baviera, rich of history, art, culture and attractions of every type.

Third German city by number of inhabitants (one million 380 thousand on December 2011), it’s all to enjoy, starting from the old town you can visit safely because it’s closed to the traffic, its parks, its markets, its three art galleries, its breweries.

The beating heart is Marienplatz, the square consecrated to Virgin Maria. To attract the attention of tourists is definitely the new town hall (Neues Rathaus), with its neo-gothic architecture, and the mobile clock (Glockenspiel) that illustrates two scenes of the historic wedding of Duke Guglielmo. Not far away you can admire the majesty of the Cathedral of Our Lady (Dom zu Unserer Lieben Frau) of the 15th Century.

The impressive towers stand out with their features onion domes. Munich is also the city of shopping and of the packed out Oktoberfest, the biggest beer festival that exists in the world.
